BB 75000 - 75100 - 75300 - 75400 (PRIMA DE33 B AC)

Series of 200 thermal locomotives:

• 99x BB 75000 - Delivery from 2007 to 2009
• 33x BB 75100 - Delivery from 2009 to 2010
• 68x BB 75400 - Delivery from 2010 to 2012

From 2014 to 2016, 10 BB 75000s were transformed into BB 75300s for passenger train traffic such as intercity night trains (addition of intercom).

The BB 75400 are equipped with the MTU 16V 4000 R43 engine developing 2400 kW and without the heating cable for passenger trains while the rest of the series is equipped with the MTU 16V 4000 R41 2000 kW engine and the 1500 V heating cable.

The BB 75100 are suitable for circulation in Germany. The rest of the park is confined to France even if part of the series is authorized in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Vmax transfer = 100 km/h

Vmax in commercial service = 120 km/h (ME 120).
