ALe 660 - Le 800 - ALe 540 - Le 600

The ALe 660 / ALe 540 railcars and the associated Le 800 / Le 600 pilot cars were manufactured in 1956 and 1957. They provided commercial passenger services from 1956 to 2000.

The first 15 pairs formed the compositions ALe 600 + Le 800 and the following 7 pairs formed the ALe 540 + Le 600 (1st class).

During their career, the ALe 660 railcars were able to circulate without the Le 800 pilot cars. Likewise, the Le 800 pilot cars could be incorporated into other compositions.
